Chassahowitzka and Ozello
Citrus County's two other coastal communities of Ozello and Chassahowitzka are a delight for anyone wanting to sample seafood from a variety of fine restaurants. There are ample opportunities for fishing, boating, crabbing, swimming or just about any other way to enjoy nature.

Ozello, located at the end of the curvy Ozello Trail, is a small and cozy little waterfront village. There are several restaurants and pubs to visit. The county has also built a fishing pier at Ozello and it gets plenty of use. There are boating facilities at Ozello as well.

Chassahowitzka, also on the Gulf, features a campground and a marina from which to launch your boat or rent a canoe. There are also many interesting restaurants and other businesses in the Chassahowitzka area.
